Featuring the most prominent works of traditional Islamic art, the “Talking Scripts” exhibition awaits visitors at Edirne Deveci Han Cultural Center between December 20 – January 10.

Featuring calligraphy works from Yıldız Holding’s Islamic Arts Collection, the “Talking Scripts” exhibition meets art lovers at Edirne Deveci Han Cultural Center with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It will be on display between December 20 and January 10, offering visitors the chance to see some of the impressive works featured in the permanent exhibition “Talking Scripts” at Yıldız Holding Exhibition Hall in Çamlıca.

Compiling the most prominent works of traditional Islamic art, this exclusive exhibition features scripts rendered by many esteemed calligraphers, including Hâfız Osman (d. 1698), Mahmud Celâleddin Efendi (d. 1829), Yesârîzâde Mustafa İzzet Efendi (d. 1849), Kazasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi (d. 1876), Mehmed Şefik Bey (d. 1880), and Hasan Rızâ Efendi (d. 1920), Hâmid Aytaç (d. 1982).

Opened with a ceremony hosted by Yıldız Holding Board Member, Global Head of Legal Affairs İbrahim Taşkın and attended by Yunus Sezer, the Governor of Edirne, the free exhibition will be welcoming visitors on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until January 10.
