Implementing projects on a global scale to support equal opportunities and inclusion, Yıldız Holding was granted the “Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year” award by AIDEX 2023, one of the world’s most significant humanitarian aid events. 

Yıldız Holding Women’s Platform Ambassador Begüm Mutuş said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award for our domestic and international projects toward establishing equal opportunities and supporting women’s entrepreneurship in the business world on our Republic’s 100^th anniversary. We will continue our efforts toward women’s empowerment uninterruptedly.”

Yıldız Holding returned with the grand prize from “AIDEX 2023 The Global Humanitarian Aid Event” held in Geneva, Switzerland, which brought together thousands of attendees including UN affiliates, NGOs, and private sector representatives. The Holding was granted the “Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year” award at Development Awards 2030 as part of AIDEX 2023 for its The Women Stars of Agriculture Project and leading efforts implemented in partnership with the Women’s Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program (WEA) by UN Women.

Having received the “Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year” award from AidEX Managing Director Nicholas Rutherford, Yıldız Holding Women’s Platform Ambassador Begüm Mutuş said: “As we work to build a corporate culture ensuring equal opportunities and inclusion for all our companies at our Women’s Platform, we make an effort to offer equal opportunities to our female employees along with all the women in our value chain. We are one of the strategic partners of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program implemented by UN Women. We accelerated exemplary practices encouraging women’s entrepreneurship at Yıldız Holding and its companies and committed to supporting women’s entrepreneurship in supply chains globally. We developed the Women Stars of Agriculture project to strengthen the female farmers across our value chain with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Aiming to increase the rate of supported female farmers by 100% within three years, we achieved our goal rapidly in the first year. We are delighted to receive this prestigious award for our domestic and international projects toward establishing equal opportunities and supporting women’s entrepreneurship in the business world on our Republic’s 100^th anniversary.
