Yıldız Holding Provides Earthquake Relief of Over TRY 200 Million

Using all means available since the earthquake disaster that deeply shook our country occurred, Yıldız Holding sends relief supplies to the region in coordination with the Turkish Red Crescent and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency). Having already exceeded TRY 200 million, the earthquake relief provided by Yıldız Holding is still ongoing, based on the list of requirements issued by authorities.
Yıldız Holding supports the earthquake area with all its companies and 75 thousand employees. Having directed all its resources to the disaster area as soon as the large-scale earthquake, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş and affected ten provinces, Yıldız Holding continues its relief efforts uninterruptedly. Working in collaboration with the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, and local governments, Yıldız Holding has already dispatched relief supplies from its stores and warehouses in the disaster area and facilities in other provinces of over TRY 200 million, still continuing to send more supplies to the region.
Relief supplies delivered by Yıldız Holding companies
Ülker, a Yıldız Holding company, quickly delivered 6 semitrailers of baby biscuits, cakes, and biscuits to be distributed across the disaster area by the Turkish Red Crescent. Still providing support, it aims to complete the 20 semitrailers of planned relief supplies.
Yıldız Holding’s retail company ŞOK Marketler delivers food and personal care products to the victims by hand from its stores that have remained standing in the disaster area. In addition, teams from other provinces have started working in the earthquake regions to ensure that the stores resume their operations as soon as possible to meet the needs of local people.
Bizim Toptan delivers 50 semitrailers of supplies from its stores and warehouses in İskenderun, Adıyaman, Hatay, and Osmaniye through the Turkish Red Crescent.
g2mEksper is setting up mobile kitchens in the yards of Bizim Toptan stores in Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Antakya, Gaziantep, and Kahramanmaraş to offer warm meals to 10 thousand people.
Focusing on the bread need in the region, Yıldız Holding company DFU has already sent 3 semitrailers of ready-to-eat bread to Hatay and Malatya and continues delivering its products to other locations.
A semitrailer of canned tuna fish and other canned products sent by Superfresh, a Kerevitaş brand, to the disaster area is currently being distributed to the earthquake victims.
The Holding’s packaging company Polinas has sent 48 thousand thermal blankets to the area so far and is preparing to dispatch another 160 thousand.
In addition to all these supplies, Yıldız Holding Volunteers Club is preparing another semitrailer loaded with relief supplies they gathered, such as heaters, blankets, thermal clothing, sleeping bags, food products, and hygiene kits.
