Yıldız Holding Empowers its Companies and Employees Toward a Sustainable Future

Yıldız Holding employees have successfully completed the Sustainability Training Program offered in collaboration with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM) and Sustainable Development Solutions Network Turkey (SDSN Türkiye). 

Operating with its “This Is Our World” approach and a focus on creating sustainable value for all its stakeholders, Yıldız Holding continues its efforts toward achieving its vision of becoming a pioneering global company in sustainability.

The “This Is Our World Sustainability Training Program,” “held in collaboration with Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center (BÜYEM) and Sustainable Development Solutions Network Turkey (SDSN Türkiye) within this framework to enhance the knowledge of Yıldız Holding employees on environmental, social, and governance matters, has been completed. Attended by the employees of 17 different Holding affiliates, this 12-week online training program was designed with a particular focus on Yıldız Holding’s sustainability focus areas and strategic goals.

As part of the training program, covering four modules titled “Sustainability Agenda”, “Future of the Environment,” “Growing Stronger with Stakeholders,” and “Inspiring the Future,” the employees attended sessions addressing many topics, including Carbon Management, Water Management, Circular Economy, Sustainable Agriculture, Diversity and Inclusion.

The participants received certificates of achievement upon completing the 24-hour-long training program instructed by Prof. Dr. Eser Borak, Prof. Dr. Arzu Tektaş, Doç. Dr. Aslı D. Helvacıoğlu, Doç. Dr. Sevgi Kesim, Dr. Duygu S. Öztürk, Prof. Dr. Mine Eder, Dr. Tamer Atabarut, Dr. Akgün İlhan, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Özertan, Aslıhan Arıkan, Özge Ayşe Kepenek Bozkıroğlu, Bahar Özay, Erman Fenerci, and Aslı Kurtuluş.
