Yıldız Holding Celebrates "Make Happy, Be Happy Day" Highlighting "Diversity, Equal Opportunities and Art"

Celebrated with a particular focus on the themes of ‘Diversity, Equal Opportunities, and Art,’ this year’s “Make Happy, Be Happy Day” brought together Yıldız Holding’s over 70 thousand employees working for its domestic and international operations. On Make Happy, Be Happy Day, where the new exhibition hall featuring the Yıldız Holding Art Collection opened as well, the income generated through the charity sale organized with the contributions of Yıldız Holding employees was donated to LÖSEV (The Foundation for Children with Leukemia).
Celebrated by Yıldız Holding’s employees, local and worldwide, on the third Thursday of every November, the traditional “Make Happy, Be Happy Day” Et Mutlu Ol Günü” focused on the themes of “Diversity, Equal Opportunities, and Art” this year. Yıldız Holding Çamlıca Campus was the home of various celebration events and activities taking place throughout the day. The employees of Yıldız Holding, which collaborates with many non-governmental organizations, from Kızılay (The Red Crescent) and AFAD (The Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management) to TEGV (The Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey) and The Darülaceze Directorate of the Turkish Republic, to reach people from all social segments, also contributed to such initiatives throughout the year. In addition to the past year’s efforts to contribute to society, Yıldız Holding organized a charity sale on the occasion of the Make Happy, Be Happy Day, donating the entire income generated to LÖSEV (The Foundation for Children with Leukemia).

Employees participated in many workshops on ‘Diversity and Inclusivity’ all day and produced a collective graffiti work on a campus wall, bringing out the theme of happiness on the Make Happy, Be Happy Day, jazzed up by the joyful songs by the choir of Yıldız Holding employees.

Yıldız Holding Art Collection finds a permanent home at the new exhibition hall
Placing particular importance on being a part of projects bringing society together on common ground and driving the cultural community, Yıldız Holding also scheduled the opening of its new exhibition hall in Çamlıca on the Make Happy, Be Happy Day. In addition to the works of traditional Islamic art, recently opened to the public as a permanent exhibition, contemporary art works from the Yıldız Holding Art Collection have a permanent home now, expecting art lovers.

Yıldız Holding Vice Chair and CEO Mehmet Tütüncü remarked that Yıldız Holding was born in Turkey, grew by incorporating the world’s long-established companies, and has an inclusive relationship with customers, consumers, the environment, society, and nature.
