ŞOK Marketler Increases Net Income in the First Quarter While Exceeding 46 Thousand in Employment

Having increased its net sales income by 103.6 percent in the first quarter of 2023, ŞOK Marketler continued contributing to the economy and employment. The number of the company’s employees exceeded 46 thousand as of March 31, 2023, with employment privileges offered to earthquake victims, and the number of its stores reached 10 thousand 214.  

ŞOK Marketler reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2023 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). As per the results, the company’s first-quarter net sales income reached TRY 20.8 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 103.6 percent. The number of ŞOK Marketler employees exceeded 46 thousand, and the number of stores reached 10 thousand 214. ŞOK Marketler continued contributing to employment and the economy despite the major earthquake disaster that shook the entire nation.  

Having announced its decision to prioritize earthquake victims in recruitment across the countries, ŞOK Marketler continues its efforts to help with economic recovery in all the affected provinces uninterruptedly. Immediately after the earthquake, ŞOK Marketler had distributed the products in its stores and warehouses in the disaster area in collaboration with the relevant aid organizations. ŞOK Marketler offers its services to meet the local people’s basic needs through the stores it restored as soon as possible after the disaster and container and pre-fabricated stores it opened.
