ŞOK Marketler fixed the prices of 1000 products throughout January. The prices of the 1000 chosen products, from flour, pulses, and pasta to fruits and vegetables and detergents, will be fixed until the end of January.

ŞOK Marketler, one of Turkey’s largest food retailers, will fix the prices of 1000 products in January. The prices of the 1000 chosen staple products, from rice, pasta, pulses, flour, tea, and coffee to vegetable oils, margarine, potatoes, and onions, will remain the same until the end of January.

Commenting on the price-fixing campaign, ŞOK Marketler CEO Uğur Demirel said: “We left behind a year that was challenging for manufacturers, retailers, and consumers alike, costs and therefore prices kept rising due to the impact of global fluctuations. As ŞOK Marketler, we decided to fix the prices of 1000 thousand products throughout January to contribute to the national economy and our customers' budgets. We gave a pleasant surprise to our customers by fixing our usual low-price policy for January. This means that even if the prices of these 1000 products rise, we will keep them the same until the end of the month. At ŞOK Marketler, we always offer reliable and high-quality products to our customers at the most affordable prices. Adopting a below-market price policy in our stores across 81 provinces, we assume a significant role in curbing inflation.
