ŞOK Marketler celebrates the 100th anniversary of Piyale, the first brand to introduce pasta to Turkey and to become a staple in all kitchens over the years.
Piyale, one of ŞOK Marketler’s largest private-label product groups sold at all ŞOK Marketler stores, celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. After producing and exporting Turkey’s first pasta products at its factory, founded in İzmir by Hasan Tahsin Bey in 1922, Piyale has become a significant brand used in all kitchens over the years. Its current product family includes flour, soups, pasta sauces, and powder desserts. This long-established brand, driven by its 100-year-old legacy, still receives considerable consumer interest as it did for all these years.
