Ülker’s treats are available to order online

Turhan added that combinations of chocolate and candy gifts are on sale not only at traditional sales points but also online, for consumers to send to their families who live far away.

Turhan shared tips about how to store chocolate and candies and gave some advice consumers should consider when buying:
“The production methods of chocolate and candies are very important, but how consumers’ store their products are just as important when it comes to taste. You should store candy in a cool environment lower than 30 degrees with no sun exposure. Chocolate packaging is important to protect the deliciousness of the product and the eating experience. Packaging should wrap the product and seal very well, preventing it from being exposed to air and light. It’s important that the chocolate’s surface is bright and smooth, so it easily melts in the mouth. The cocoa butter in chocolate has a very special, sensitive crystal structure, so it should be stored in a cool environment between 18-22 degrees, but not in the refrigerator.
