At Northstar, a Yıldız Holding company, Arzu Aslan Kesimer has been appointed as Board Member and Executive Director, while Yonca Mısırlıoğlu has been appointed as General Manager by proxy.

Arzu Aslan Kesimer has assumed the offices of Board Member and Executive Director at Yıldız Holding’s innovation company Northstar. Having graduated from Marmara University Department of Economics (English) in 1991, Arzu Aslan Kesimer completed her postgraduate studies in Economics at Boğaziçi University in 1994. After starting her career at Marmara Bank in 1992, Kesimer subsequently assumed various roles at Koçtaş. Having served as Tat Gıda General Manager between 2011 and 2020, Kesimer continued her career as Söktaş Independent Board Member and Akkök HoldingAkkim Board Member as of April 2021. As Women on Board Association Vice President and Founding Member, Arzu Aslan Kesimer continues to serve as a member of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, TÜSİAD, and ISO Assembly. Having completed certification programs in “Leadership, Strategy, and Effective Board Membership” at Harvard Business School and Oxford University Said Business School, Kesimer volunteers as a mentor in various organizations.

Serving as Yıldız Holding Chairman’s Office Project Director, Yonca Mısırlıoğlu has been appointed as Northstar General Manager by proxy while keeping her current office. In her new duty, Yonca Mısırlıoğlu will be responsible for developing new products at a local and global scale to enable sustainable financial results, as well as managing innovation and research projects, developing and executing new strategies to establish innovative food initiatives. Having graduated from Marmara University Department of Business Administration in 1991, Yonca Mısırlıoğlu began her career at Publi-Graphics advertising agency. Having assumed the office of Marketing Executive at RAKS Elektronik in 1993, Mısırlıoğlu subsequently worked as Anadolu Efes Corporate Communication Director, Marketing Director for Candy, IPM Country Commercial Leader, and Commercial and Corporate HRBP at Cadbury. Having joined Yıldız Holding as Ülker Marketing Director for Candy and Gum in2010, Yonca Mısırlıoğlu had subsequently assumed the roles of Marketing Director and Global Marketing Capability Development Director.
