A significant change has taken place at Ülker, Turkey’s leading food company. Eylem Özgür has been appointed as Vice President of Human Resources. Starting her orientation process as of August 4, 2025, Eylem Özgür will officially take over the role on September 30.

The Human Resources organization under the leadership of Eylem Özgür will be responsible for developing long-term human resources strategies aligned with the company’s growth goals in Turkey and Central Asia, and for talent management. She will report directly to CEO Özgür Kölükfakı.

Speaking about this important change, Ülker CEO Özgür Kölükfakı said:

“With over 25 years of experience in many key roles throughout her career, Eylem Özgür will lead our company in the field of human resources. Between 2019 and 2020, Özgür served as Human Resources Director at Eczacıbaşı Holding, and for the past four years before joining Ülker, she held the position of Group Head of Human Resources at Eczacıbaşı Holding.

About Eylem Özgür:
Born in 1976, Eylem Özgür completed her undergraduate education in 1998 at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering. In 2003, she earned a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Istanbul University, and in 2010, she received a PhD from the same university in the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations.

She began her professional career in 1999 as a Total Quality Specialist at Aselsan, and in the same year joined Eczacıbaşı Holding as an Assistant Human Resources Specialist. Between 2005 and 2013, she served as Human Resources Manager at Eczacıbaşı Girişim. From 2013 to 2019, she held the position of Human Resources Director responsible for Consumer Products Group companies. During the 2016–2018 period, she also took on the role of Supply Chain Director in addition to her responsibilities.

Having held various roles at Eczacıbaşı Group for over 25 years, Özgür served as Group Head of Human Resources at Eczacıbaşı Holding for the past four years before joining Ülker.
