A senior level appointment was made in Kerevitaş, Besler and Marsa, one of the largest business units of Yıldız Holding in Turkey after Ülker.  Mert Altınkılınç, who previously served as the Managing Director of pladis for Middle East and North Africa, will be the CEO of Kerevitaş & Besler and Marsa companies, whose consolidated sales figure has reached TRY 4.9 billion.   

Altınkılınç, who has built a successful career in Yıldız Holding companies for 17 years, made significant contributions to the strong position and stable growth of pladis in the Middle East and North Africa region while he was working as a Managing Director. As the CEO of Kerevitaş & Besler and Marsa, Altınkılınç will focus on maintaining the company’s strong position in the domestic and foreign markets in the upcoming period.  

After having his bachelor’s degree in Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Industrial Engineering, he had his master’s degree in the same department and got his MBA in the United States. In 2005, he started his career at Yıldız Holding where he held senior operational and commercial positions in both domestic and international affiliates. Between 2008 and 2010, he served as the Export Manager who was responsible for food and private label products in Eksper and Teközel Gıda companies, and between 2010 and 2011, he was the Sales Director who was responsible for the international sales of private label products. He was the General Manager of Eksper and Birleşik Dış Ticaret companies between 2011 and 2014. Between 2014 and 2016, he served as Vice President who was responsible for the exports and international distributor operations of food and snacks categories in Istanbul Gıda and Eksper Gıda companies.   

Between 2016 and 2020, Altınkılıç worked in pladis as the Managing Director of Middle East and since 2020, he has served as the Managing Director of Middle East and North Africa in pladis.
