Turkey’s leader in margarine export and out-of-home consumption, Marsa has received a “Zero Waste Certificate” as a result of its pioneering sustainability efforts.
As the owner of Turkey’s largest edible oil production plant established in a single location, Marsa has been granted a ‘Zero Waste Certificate’ as a result of its sustainability efforts. Granted by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization to companies that establish and run a zero waste management system in their plants, the ‘Zero Waste Certificate’ includes the processes of waste prevention, more efficient use of resources, preventing or minimizing waste generation by reviewing its causes and separately collecting and recycling the waste that is generated at its source.
