The consolidated revenue of Kerevitaş, the leading company of the Turkish fresh frozen and canned food and margarine market has reached TRY 2.010 billion with a year-on-year increase of 45.4 percent in the first half of 2021.

The consolidated revenue of Kerevitaş, the leading company of the Turkish fresh frozen and canned food and margarine market has reached TRY 2.010 billion with a year-on-year increase of 45.4 percent in the first half of 2021. As Yıldız Holding’s second largest publicly listed food company by market value, Kerevitaş achieved a revenue of TRY 551 million with an increase of 27.5 percent in its  Frozen and Canned Food Business Unit and a revenue of TRY 1.489 billion with an increase of 54.2 percent in its Edible Oil Business Unit. Continuously enhancing its market share through its R&D and innovation investments, Kerevitaş continued to grow domestically as well as in export markets with a year-on-year increase of 80.6 percent.

The leading brand of the frozen and canned food industry, SuperFresh, reinforced its leadership in the industry by maintaining its strategy of growing through innovative product launches. It introduced a total of 14 new products to its consumers in the first 6 months of 2021, including Cheddar Pizza Toast,  Special Stone Oven Four Cheese Pizza, thinly sliced potatoes, Meat Döner Potatoes and Sandwich Bread. Thanks to its brands such as Bizim Yağ and Teremyağ with 100 percent brand recognition and its high penetration rate of 17 million households, Besler maintained its strong revenue share of 54 percent in the first half-year as the leading company of the Turkish margarine market, well ahead of its competitors.

Remarking that innovation and R&D investments have a determining role in the company’s growth, Kerevitaş CEO Şükrü Çin commented on the company’s financial results for the first half-year: “We maintained our powerful position in the market and continued to grow particularly in export markets, increasing our revenue in the first half of 2021.
