Kerevitaş Achieved a Record Revenue Increase Rate Of 143 Percent Generating A Consolidated Revenue Of Try 2.4 Billion In The First Quarter

The consolidated revenue of Kerevitaş, Turkey’s leading company in the fresh frozen food, canned food and margarine markets, has reached TRY 2.4 billion with a year-on-year increase of 143 percent in the first quarter of 2022.

Turkey’s leading company in the fresh frozen food, canned food and margarine markets has reported its financial results of the first quarter of 2022 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). The consolidated revenue of Kerevitaş in the first quarter of 2022 has reached TRY 2.4 billion by a year-on-year increase of 143 percent. Maintaining its leadership position in the domestic market with its strength in innovation and product diversity, Kerevitaş continued its stable growth in exports in the first quarter of the year. The exports of Kerevitaş in the first quarter of the year has reached TRY 287.8 million by a year-on-year increase of 87 percent.

Superfresh, the leading brand in the frozen food and canned food industry, expanded its innovative product range with new launches offering its consumers a wide variety of choices.      Chocolate Pizza Toast, Pizza King with Cheddar Cheese, Ton Mix A Healthy Meal Product Family and Oven-Baked Turkish Mantı are launched by Superfresh in the first quarter of the year. Having pizza, French fries and croquettes in it, the innovative product titled “Super Mix” special menu suits the dynamics of e-commerce and brings the joy of eating in a restaurant to consumers’ houses.

Superfresh reinforced its leadership by reaching a revenue share of 22% marking an increase of 1.5 points at the end of the first quarter. Having leading brands such as Bizim Yağ and Teremyağ, which have 100 percent brand recognition in the Turkish margarine market, Besler maintained its leadership position in the market with a revenue share of 43.7 percent in the first quarter of the year. 
In addition to its margarine exports to more than 50 countries across 6 continents, Kerevitaş has reinforced its position in exports as well as its regional leadership position with the inclusion of 4 new business partners in its portfolio and launches of new products with bucket packaging.  Thanks to its presence with Ona brand in consumer margarine category for more than 30 years, Kerevitaş has maintained its leadership position in Iraq, Syria and Georgia. Additionally, it has maintained its leadership positions in Albania in pastry margarine category under out-of-home consumption margarine industry and in Iraq, Romania and Kazakhstan in catering category.
