Having reached a growth rate of 78 percent in the first half of the year, ŞOK Marketler continued to contribute to the national economy and the country’s employment rate. 

ŞOK Marketler has reported its financial results for the first half of 2022 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). In the first half of 2022, the net sales revenue of ŞOK Marketler reached TRY 23.5 billion by a year-on-year increase of 78 percent. Having opened 611 new stores in this time period, the total number of stores run by ŞOK Marketler reached 9 thousand 858. Having recruited more than 6 thousand new people in the aforementioned time period, the number of employees of ŞOK Marketler reached 46 thousand and the company continued to contribute to the country’s employment rate and national economy.

Commenting on the financial results of the first half of the year, ŞOK Marketler’s CEO Uğur Demirel said: “Financially, we had a very successful first half-year thanks to the tremendous popularity of our e-commerce application, CepteŞOK, which we have implemented with the goal of delivering reliable and quality products to our customers at the most affordable prices. With our ever-increasing employment rate, we continued to contribute to both the national economy and our society. We are proud to support local farming through our ‘Fair Agriculture from Farm to Table’ project where we have brought together quality products produced by our farmers from all over Turkey with our customers at the most advantageous prices. In the second half of the year, we will continue to provide our non-stop service to our customers in 81 provinces of our country, to open new stores and to increase our investments and employment rate.”
