Bizim Toptan Increases Revenue by 68 Percent in First Nine Months

Bizim Toptan’s revenue reached TRY 15.7 billion in the first nine months of the year, with a year-on-year increase of 68 percent. Driven by its omnichannel strategy and strong digital infrastructure, Bizim Toptan continues steadily increasing the number of its stores and customers. 

As Türkiye’s most accessible organized wholesale store chain, Bizim Toptan maintained its steady growth and achieved a strong financial performance through its expansive store and warehouse network, advanced technological infrastructure, solid sales force in the out-of-home (OOH) consumption and its affiliate, Seç Market, which offers a franchising model to small-sized local businesses, in the first nine months of 2023. Having increased its revenue to TRY 15.7 billion with a year-on-year increase of 68 percent, Bizim Toptan also maintained its strong position in the market and expanded its scope through store investments in the same period. The number of Bizim Toptan stores across Türkiye has reached 181, with the two new stores that it opened in Denizli and Ankara Yaşamkent.

The growth of the Seç Market channel, the supply needs of which are met largely by Bizim Toptan, has a significant share in Bizim Toptan’s increased revenue. As the number of Seç Market’s business partners across the country with its tradespeople-empowering business model reached 2 thousand 699, its share in Bizim Toptan’s sales continued increasing, ultimately reaching 24 percent in the third quarter. Expanding its OOH consumption customer portfolio and sales incomes through the exclusive procurement solutions and active field operations offered to customers by PROSAF, Bizim Toptan’s professional sales support team, also significantly contributed to the company’s growth. With a growth rate of almost 130 percent, PROSAF sales remain a locomotive of Bizim Toptan’s growth.

Commenting on the company’s financial results for the first nine months, Bizim Toptan CEO Hüseyin Balcı said: “As we continued growing through new investments and expanding our store network in the third quarter, we increased the number of our active customers in the OOH consumption and retail channel with a successful performance. The number of our customers exceeded 2 million in the first nine months. We are strengthening our digital infrastructure to quickly respond to the needs of our personal and corporate customers and offer an ever-better shopping experience to them. We contribute to our customers’ budgets and the economy by supplying thousands of convenience products in our portfolio, ranging from food to cleaning, at the most affordable wholesale prices. On the occasion of the Republic’s 100th anniversary, which we celebrated with great pride, we launched a special campaign in October. We will keep implementing new ones to support the struggle against inflation until the end of the year. We will continue standing with our customers and uninterruptedly delivering our products and services across our country via our powerful logistics network as we have always done.”
