16.08.2023
Türkiye’s most expansive organized wholesale store chain, Bizim Toptan, maintained its growth in the first half of the year through its omnichannel strategy and robust digital infrastructure. Bizim Toptan also increased its goals for year-end growth.
Türkiye’s most expansive organized wholesale store chain, Bizim Toptan, reported its financial results for the first six months of 2023 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). It maintained its steady growth by increasing the number of its customers through its advanced technological infrastructure, wide store network, and SEÇ Market. Bizim Toptan achieved a year-on-year increase of 72.5 percent in its sales income, reaching TRY 9.5 billion in the first half. The company increased its goal of year-end growth to the range of 60-70 percent.
Aiming to offer high-quality products to its out-of-home (OOH) consumption and retail customers at the most affordable prices as part of its omnichannel sales strategy, Bizim Toptan maintained its strong position in the market through store investments. Bizim Toptan opened a new store in the first half of the year and had two of its existing stores closed due to the earthquake disaster. Currently operating with a broad branch network of 179 stores, the company increased the number of SEÇ Market stores to 2 thousand 604. As Bizim Toptan grew in the retail channel through its SEÇ Market business partnership model, it also expanded its customer portfolio in the out-of-home (OOH) consumption channel.
Having taken additional measures to ensure the victims of the major earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and deeply impacted 11 provinces have uninterrupted access to the most needed food products, Bizim Toptan continues providing support to meet urgent and daily needs in the region through its tent-store in the İskenderun province. With its powerful logistics network, Bizim Toptan ensures the continuity of the supply chain through the warehouse it opened in the Denizli province.
Hüseyin Balcı: “We will continue expanding our store network and maintain our steady growth.”
Commenting on the financial results of the year’s first half, Bizim Toptan CEO Hüseyin Balcı said: “We maintained our growth and expanded our store network in the first half of the year despite significant challenges. We increased the number of our active consumers in the out-of-home (OOH) consumption and retail channels and continue doing so. Our SEÇ Market network also expanded, enabling us to grow with our local tradespeople. Our efforts toward uninterrupted supply in the earthquake region are ongoing. We place our customers at the core of all our actions, continuously striving to offer them a better shopping experience. Within this context, we are reshaping our digital infrastructure to adapt to contemporary requirements and the changing needs of our customers. Driven by a service consciousness, we will continue increasing the number of our stores and uninterruptedly delivering goods and services all over our country.”
