Following the Board decision made on March 1, Yıldız Holding company Gözde Girişim founded a new technology investment company called Gözde Tech Ventures Teknoloji A.Ş. Chaired by Yahya Ülker, the new company will adopt the vision of making use of new business methods and opportunities which have transformed significantly in parallel with global technological developments, as well as seizing any opportunities associated with investing in pioneering domestic and foreign start-ups. Gözde Tech Ventures will primarily focus on the industries of SaaS (Software as a Service), gaming, financial technologies, blockchain, artificial intelligence, mobility, educational technologies, marketing technologies, and e-commerce.  

Initially planning to invest in approximately 10 start-ups reaching, a total investment of USD 20 million in two years and, Gözde Tech Ventures aims to build up an investment portfolio that will eventually reach 10 percent of Gözde Girişim’s total asset size in the long term and thus become one of the leading players in the venture capital market. 

Gözde Tech Ventures Chairman Yahya Ülker said: “The main purpose of our new company is to support new start-ups that need capital, grow together with them, support pioneering domestic and foreign start-ups and make Yıldız Holding’s know-how and experience in the venture capital market available for these new start-ups to carry them to the global arena.”
